ORDINANCE NO. 8888
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 8656 BY CREATING THE
POSITION OF ASSISTANT PLANNER WITHIN THE PLANNING
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, FIXING THE SALARY
THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the position of Assistant Planner is
hereby created in the Planning Commission of the City of
Little Rock, by amending Section 13 of Ordinance No. 8656,
to read as follows:
SECTION 13. PLANNING COMMISSION
1 Director $400.00
1 Assistant Planner 375.00
39 1 Planning Technician $280.00 300.00
15 1 Clerk- Stenographer 160.00 1$0.00
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and unless the pro-
visions of this ordinance are put into effect immediately the
public peace, health and safety of the citizens of Little
Aotk will be adversely affected; therefore, an emergency is

hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
