AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 AND SECTION 9 (E) OF GAS ORDINANCE N0. 7466
TO TRUSPER THE DUTIES OF TFE; GAS INSPECTOR TO THE PLUMBING INSPECTOR AS PRE
SCRIBED IN ORDINANCE NO. 7466 AND AUTHORIZING A MINIMUM SIZE OF A ONE INCH
GUSTOMER SERVICE PIPE WHEN THE USE OF SERVICE REGULATOR IS A REQUIREMENT AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
` BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 7466 be and it is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"In addition to his other duties, the Plumbing Inspector shall be
charged with the inspection of gas piping and installation as here-
inafter prescribed and defined in this ordinance. The Plumbing
Inspector shall also be known as the Gas Inspector, provided that
the Plumbing Inspector may delegate to one or more of his subordi-
nates any or all of the duties of Gas Inspector ".
SECTION 2. Section 9 (E) of Ordinance No. 7466 be and it is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Customer service pipe shall be not less than one inch pipe when
the utility supplying gas requires the use of a service regulator.
When no service regulator is required on customer service by the
utility, then the pipe size required shall not be less than one
and one - fourth inch in size. When gas requirements for structure
to be supplied includes boilers or other equipment requiring in-
creased quantities of gas, the size of service lines shall be
inereased to two inch or larger size standard pipe requirgd.by
supplies of gas*.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage and approval.
