AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON THAT PORTION OF WEST
FOURTEENTH STREET BEGINNING AT A POINT 2� FEET EAST OF
THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF W2, NEI, NWL NE4 OF.SECTION 7,
TOWNSHIP ONE.(1), NORTH, RANGE TWELVE (123 WEST, AND
RUNNING 3 6.5 FEET EAST.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 6th day of May, 1952, asking
the City Council to vacate and abandon that portion of West Fourteenth
Street beginning at a point 25 feet East of the Southwest corner of
W2, NE4, NW6, NEI, of Section 7, Township One (1), North, Range Twelve
(12) West, and running 346.5 feet East, in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, and,
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law the Council has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons de-
siring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the portions
of said streets hereinabove described have heretofore been dedicated to
the public use, and have not been used by the public generally for a
period of at least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat;
that all the owners of the property abutting upon the portions of said
streets to be vacated have filed with the Council their written consent
to such abandonment; and that the public interest and welfare will not
be adversely affected by the abandonmant of such portions of said
streets;
NOWO THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: .
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the following portions of the following
streets, to -wit:
That portion of West Fourteenth Street beginning at a
point 2� feet East of the Southwest corner of W2, NE12
lin NE , of Section 7, Townshi One (1), North, Range
Twelve t12) West, and running 146.5 feet East;
provided that the right of ingress and egress for maintenance of all

present and future utility lines shall be reserved to the respective
utility companies and their successors.
SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
} County and recorded in the deed records of the County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
