HomeMy WebLinkAbout8941ORDINANCE NO. 89_ �___ AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE RIGHT TO ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY,WHOSE CONNECTION WITH THE CITY. IS SEVERED, TO CONTINUE TO CARRY GROUP INSURANCE THROUGH THE CITY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT QINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS SECTION 1. That all employees of the City of Little Rock, either appointed or elected to their position, who have contracted through the City for group insurance during such employment, shall have the right to continue such insurance after severance of their connection with the City, by paying the full premium thereon into the - office of the City Collector. SECTION 2. That a provision shall be made with the company carrying the insurance for the City group to this effect and said provision shall be reduced to writing and attached to the master policy of the company and to each policy issued by it as a part of the contract for such insurance between itself and the City. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
