ORDINANCE NO. 8946 _
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE SEVEN AUTOMOBILES NOT TO EXCEED THE VALUE OF
SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS (46000.00) WITH TRADE -IN ALLOWANCE.
AND SEVEN MOTORCYCLES NOT TO EXCEED THE VALUE OF FIVE
HOUSAND NINE HUNDRED DOU6U81059W.00) WITH TRAAF -IN
,ALLOWANCES, FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized and
directed to advertise, take bids for and purchase seven automobiles
and seven motorcycles for use by the Police Department of the City
of Little Rook, and for other purposes.
SECTION 2. The cost of the seven automobiles with trade -in
allowances shall not exceed the value of Six Thousand Dollars ($6000.00)
and the cost of the seven motorcycles with trade -in allowances shall
not exceed the value of Five Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($5900.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict he-re-
with are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
