ORDINANCE NO. 8959
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FHR, AND PUR*
CHASE TRAFFIC LIGHTS, TRAFFIC LIGBT CONTROLS, AND
CABLE FOR USE BY THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise, take bids for and purchase traffic
lights, traffic light controls, oable and accessories, for use by
the Eleotrio Department of the City of Little Hock. Said traffic
lights to be installed at the intersections of Garland and Cross,
Second and Cross, Fourth and gross, Seventh and Chester,end
Eighth and Chester
SECTION 2. The cost of such traffic lights, traffic light
controls, and cable shall not exceed the sum of four thousand
five hundred dollars ($4,500.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
