AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE JOB CLASSIFICATION OF THE
RADIO TECHNICIAN IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO THE JOB
CLASSIFICATION OF COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER IN THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT, AMENDING SECTION 14 OF ORDINANCE NO. 86561
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
F Section 1. That the position and job classification of
10_1a z is at is hereby changed
to the job classification of Communications Officer.
Section 2. Section 14 of Ordinance No. 8656 shall be and
is hereby amended in part by deleting the following line:
1$U 1 Radio Technician
And substituting therefore the following:
18U 1
Section 3.
Communications
Officer

The. - person occupying such position shall be
a qualified Radio Technician and shall qualify as a Policeman in the
Police Department and perform such duties as maybe assigned by the
Chief of Police.
Section 4. The person to fill the position hereby created
in Section 1 of this ordinance shall be chosen by the Civil Serpice
Commission of the City of Little Rock in the manner as provided by
law.
Section 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
