AN ORDINANCE AiIENDING SECTIONS 16 AND 17 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 9oo6 BY PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE

SAID EMPLOYEE WHEN SAID ELIPLOYEE IS REQUIRED TO WORK

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUL\ICIL OF T,-,E CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 9 006 be and is hereby
amended by providing that certain employees of the Recreation
Department and Sanitation Department shall be compensated by
extra pay, computed at the regular rate of pay, under the salary
schedule applying to said employee, when said employee is re-
quired to work in excess of 40 hours per week.
SECTION 2. That the following sentence under "PART-,',S
LAIDITEXA11TCE" in Section 16, and under "HOURS" at the end of
Section 19 of Ordinance No. 9006 is hereby deleted:
Above employees shall receive ��10.00 extra per
month when required to work 48 hours or over per
week."
And substituting therefor , the following sentence:
"c-* Above ernoloyees shall be compensated by extra pay,
computed at the regular rate of pay under the salary schedule
applying
to
said employee,
when said erlployee is required to work
in excess
of
40 Hours per
week."
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after October 1, 1952.
