HomeMy WebLinkAbout9032ORDINANCE NO. 9032 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14 -C OF ORDINANCE NO. 7209 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 10. 8042, BY FIXING THE COST OF CURB CUT PERMITS, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That Section 14 -C of Ordinance No. 7209 as `hod by'Ordinanoe No. 8042 be and the same is hereby amended t© read as follows: "All curb cuts within the City of Little Rock where said property is used for com 6rcial purposes shall be paid for at the following rates: 1.50 per' lineal foot for the first 10 lineal feet in excess of 15. ?.d .per ,lineal foot for the second 10 lineal feet in excess of 15. 3.. Yo per lineal foot for the third 10 lineal feet in excess of 15. .50 per, lineal foot for the fourth 10 lineal feet in excess of 15. .0 ser every lineal foot in excess of 55 lineal feet." In the case of curb cuts approved for residential purposes.-within the City of Little Rock in excess of 15 feet per said curb out shall be ,paid for at the rate of 50¢ per Jig#�]. A foot in excess of 15 feet. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed; and as the City of Little Rock is badly in need of additional revenue for the purpose of making salary adjustments in order to retain its present employees who have been trained in their present work, and unless such employees are retained, the public peace, health and safety of the citizens of the City of Little Rock will be adversely affected; therefore, an sxorgency`is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in ' tU force and effect from and a ftber- 1 #s- passage and approval MUD: October 13, 1952 ATTEST C i ty C leek APPROVED: ' Mayor
