AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO AMEND A
CERTAIN LEASE EXECUTED BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AS
LESSOR AND ROWLEY UNITED THEATRES, INC., AS LESSEE, TO THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF TWENTY FIRST AND BARBER STREETS IN LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SBOT 6N 1. Acting under authority of Ordinance No. 8811 the Mayor
and City Clerk executed a certain lease to property owned by the City of
Little Hock situated on the Northwest corner of Twenty First and Barber
Streets in Little Rock, Arkansas, with Rowley United Theatres, Inc.,
and it now being desirable to amend said lease, the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute an Amendment to Said Lease, substituting
as the Lessee in said Lease the Razorback Drive-In Company, with the
provision that said Company shall sublet or sublease said property to
Rowley United Theatres, Inc., and to no other.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effedt from and after the date of its passage.
