AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PARAGRAPH K OF SECTION 1 OF
ORDINANCE NO. .7.373 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES NO. 7454,
7651, 7891, 8319 , 873144 8783, 8938, BY PROVIDING FOR
AN EXTENSION OF THE AIFF ORT BUS ROUTE DURING CERTAIN
PRESCRIBED RUSH HOURS FROM PICRON STREET TO MAXWELL
STREET, AND FOR OTHER PURPCSES.

SECTION 1. That paragraph K of Section 1 of Ordinance
No. ?373 as amended by Ordinances No. 7454, 7651, 7891, 8319,
8714, 8783 and 8938 is hereby amended by adding the following
after the words "thence East on 10th to Picron, thence returning
to Markham and Main over same route ", said words being, to -wit:
"That during certain prescribed rush hours, said hours being
6 :30 to 8 :30 A.M. and 3:30 to 6 :00 P.M., said bus line shall be
extended to continue on.from Picron to Maxwell Street, thence
returning to Markham and Main over same route ".
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and it being necessary
to the peace, welfare and safety of the citizens of Little Rock
that said bus line be extended during said rush hours immediately,
an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
