AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND LEASE
PROPERTY AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF ROOSEVELT ROAD
AND BARBER AVENUE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE OAKLAND
CEMETERY BOARD, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for and lease
certain property belonging to the Oakland Cemetery Board,
located at the Northwest corner of Roosevelt Road az d Barber
Avenue and described as follows : -
200 feet North of the curb line on Barber Avenue and
250 feet West of the curb line on Roosevelt Road,
for the benefit of the Oakland Cemetery general fund.
SECTION 2. That all money received from said lease
shall be credited to the Oakland Cemetery general fund for
expenditure under the supervision of the Oakland Cemetery Board.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
