ORDINANCE NO. 29 13
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING TERRITORY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, BY THE PULASKI COUNTY COURT IN ITS ORDER OF OCTOBER 7, 1952,
MAKING SAID TERRITORY A PART OF THE FOURTH WARD, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Pulaski County Court by its order dated October 7,
1952, recorded in Book 59 at page 341, annexed to the City of Little
Rock, certain territory known as Lots 1 through 6, Block 23, and Lots
1 through 5, Block 26, BATEMAN'S SUBDIVISION of CHERRY AND COX ADDITION
to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the territory annexed to the City of Little
Rock by an order of the Pulaski County Court dated October 7, 19520
being more particularly described as follows: Lots 1 through 6, Block
23, and Lots 1 through 5, Block 26, BATEMANtS SUBDIVISION OF CHERRY AND
COX ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, is
hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and is hereby made a part of the Fourth Ward.
SECTION 2. That all the streets and roads heretofore dedicated
and shown in the plat and bill of assurance of said subdivision now on
file in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Recorder are hereby accepted
by the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and in order to insure that the citizens
in the area covered by this ordinance may be given adequate fire and
police protection, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
