ORDINANCE N0. 22
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPLICATION TO THE
CITY COUNCIL FOR THE ERECTION OF ANY CHIMNEYS,
TOWERS OR STRUCTURES OF SIMILAR NATURE WHICH
APPLICANT PROPOSES TO ERECT TO A HEIGHT IN EXCESS
OF THE HEIGHT PRESCRIBED FOR THE PROPERTY AS
ZONED UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 5420, REPEALING IN ITS
ENTIRETY PARAGRAPH C OF SUB- SECTION 1 OF SECTION
17 OF ORDINANCE NO. 5420, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That any person, persons, corporation
or other parties desiring to erect chimneys, towers or similar
structures in excess of a height prescribed for the property
according to zoning classification, shall make application to
the City Council for permission to erect such structure.
SECTION 2. That no permit shall be granted for
the erection of such structure except upon the order of the
City_ Council.
SECTION 3. That Paragraph C of Sub - Section 1 of
Section 17 of Ordinance No. 5420 is hereby repealed in its
entirety.
SECTION 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
