AN ORDINANCE WITH RESPECT TO THE LIABILITY OF THE
BUILDING INSPECTOR AND OTHER PERSONS CONNECTED WITH
ENFORCEMENT OF THE BUILDING CODE, AMEMI ING CHAPTER
3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 7888, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LI TTLE ROCK,
ARKAN SAS :
SECTION 1. That Chapter 3 of Ordinance No. 7888
is hereby amended by adding to said chapter the following:
"Section 305 -a. Liability. The Building Inspector
or Building Commissioner or any member of the Board of
Building Code Appeals and anyone under their direction,
acting in good faith and without malice, shall not be
liable for dama`;es by reason of anything done in any
action or proceeding instituted under a provision of
this ordinance or by reason of any act or omission in
the performance of his official duties.??
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
