AN ORDINANCE TO VACA79 AND ABANDON THAT PORTION OF WEST FOURTEENTH STREET
BEGINNING AT A POINT 25 FEET EAST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF W*, N&J, NWJ,
NEL OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP ONE (1), NORTH* RANGE TWELVE (12) WEST, AND
RUNNING 146.5 FEET EAST.
a, petition was duly filed with the City Council of the Ci
Little Rock, Arkansas, on the tday of IXay",'1953, asking the City Council to va-
cate and abandon that portion of West Fourteenth Street beginning at a point 25
feet East of the Southwest corner of W1, NEk, NWJ, NEJ, of Section 7, Township One
M., North, Range Twelve (12) West, and running lh6.5 feet East, in the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and,
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law the Council has, at the time
and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the ques-
tion and has ascertained that the portion, of said street: hereinabove described has'
heretofore been dedicated to the public use, and rhas not been used by the public
generally for a period of at least five;;ye#z% subsequent to the filing of the plat; that
all the owners of the property abutting upon the > portion.. of said street.; to be vacated
havf.fj.ed with the Council their written consent to such abandorAwnt; and that the` i
public interest and Welfare will not be ,adversely affected by the abandonment of such
portion, of said street.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and

abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to
the following portions of the following streets, to -wit:
That portion of West Fourteenth Street beginning at a point 25 feet
last of the Southwest corner of *, NEJ, NWJ,* NEJ, of Section 7,
Township One (1), North, Range Timlve "(12) West, ` and running 146.5
feet East; 1

provided that the right of ingress and egress for maintenance of all present and fu- �
tore utility lines be reserved to the respective utility companies and their succes-
sors.
100 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the. City Clerk shall,
'be filed in -- the office of the - Recsorder ` of Pulaski County and recorded in the deed
records of the County.
