AN ORM NANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR DRAFTING SERVICES
FOR A PERIOD OF THREE MONTHS IN THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OFFICE AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Arkansas Home Builders Association, as a public service,
has made available the sum of $600.00 to be used by the City Planning
Commission in its program, which sum has been deposited in the general
funds of the city, and
WHEREAS, it was understood that this fund is to be used to secure
a draftsman to assist in compiling and evaluating the basic information
necessary for an expanded planning program; now THEREFORE;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the contract between Ray Green and the City Plan-
ning Con fission of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas for services as a
draftsman to the Planning Commission is hereby ratified by the City Council.
SECTION 2. That under the terms of this contract, said Ray Green
shall receive as compensation, a sum of money not to exceed $600.00.
SECTION 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
issue the City's warrant or warrants payable to Pay Green for said ser-
vices innonthly installments as such services are rendered, said
payments not to exceed the total sum of Six Hundred Dollars.
SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
