AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONI Nl THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF SANTA FE
AVENUE IN C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, START-
ING ON THE EAST LINE OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK TEN OF SAID C. 0. BRACK'S
ADDITION; THENCE IN A SOUTHEASTERLY DIRECTION TO THE WEST LINE OF
TYLER STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF
ARKANSAS AVENUE IN C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
STARTIM AT THE EAST LINE OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK THIRTEEN OF SAID
C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND RUNNINs THENCE
IN A SOUTHEASTERLY DIRECTION TO THE WEST LINE OF TYLER STREET IN
BLOCK THIRTEEN OF C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, on Kugus t 6 , 1953, asking the City Council to
vacate and abandon all that portion of Santa Fe and Arkansas Avemes desig-
nated on the plat of C. 0. Brack's Addition to said city now appearing of
record in Plat Book 1, Page 166, in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, said portions of said streets beirg designated as follows:
"That part of Santa Fe Avenue in C. 00 Brack's Addition to the City
of Little Rock, starting on the east line of the alley in Block Ten
of said C. 0. Brack's Addition; thence in a southeasterly direction
to the west line of Tyler Street in the City of Little Rock.
"Also, that part of Arkansas Aveme starting at the east line of
the alley in Block Thirteen of said C. 0. Brack's Addition to the
City of Little Rock, and running thence in a southeasterly direction
to the west line of Tyler Street in Block Thirteen of C. 0. Brack's
Addition."
Whereas, after due notices as required by law, the cou mil has, at the
time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be
heard on the question and has ascertained that the portions of the streets
hereirbefore described,ha —" heretofore been dedicated to the public use as
straetitb herein described;ha.v0 not been actually used by the public gener-
ally for a period of at least .five years subsequent to the filing of the plat;
that all the owners of the property abutti rg upon the portions of the streets
to be vacated have filed with the Council their written consent to such
abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely
affected by the abandoment of such portions of said streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the portions of streets designated as follows:

"That part of Santa Fe Avenue in C. 0. Brack ►s Addition to the
City of Little Rock, starting on the east line of the alley in
Block Ten of said C. 0. Brack ►s Addition; thence in a southeast-
erly direction to the west line of Tyler Street in the City of
Little Rock*
"Also, that part of Arkansas Avenue starting at the east lime of
the alley in Block Thirteen of said C. 0. Brack ►s Addition to the
City of Little flock and rumi rg thence in a southeasterly direction
to the west line of Tyler Street in Block Thirteen of C. 0. Brack ►s
Addition."
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the recorder for Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records of this cou rty.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
