AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH 5 OF SECTION 1 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 9004 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE RELEASING,
VACATING AND ABANDONING CERTAIN STREETS AND PORTIONS
OF STREETS AND ALLEYS IN INDUSTRIAL PARK ADDITION,
ANNEX NO. 19 TO THE CITY OF .LITTLE. ROCK, ARKANSAS,
WHICH STREETS ARE SURROUNDED BY PROPERTY OWNED BY THE
LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, SO THAT THERE MAY BE
AN EXTENSION OF THE NORTREAST- SOUTHWEST RUNWAY TO
PROVIDE LENGTHS OF RUNWAY REQUIRED FOR . THE NATIONAL
GUARD _S,QUADRON, SAID STREET'S TO BE AKLEASED, ABANDONED.

THEREIN, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Paragraph 5 of Section 1 of Ordinance No, 9004
was incorrectly typed to read: "East 15th Street between blacks
76 and 81 of Industrial Park Addition, Annex No. 1," and
WHEREAS, paragraph 5 of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 9004
should have been typed to read: "East 15th Street between blocks
76 and 80 of Industrial Park Addition, Annex No. l":
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That paragraph 5 of Section 1 of Ordinance
No. 9004 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"5. East 15th Street between,blocks 76 and 80 of
Industrial Park Addition, Annex No. 1."
SECTION 2. All ordimances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and since it is necessary
to the peace, health, welfare and safety of the citizens of
Little Rock that these runways at the Airport be completed as
quickly as possible, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its passage and approval.
