AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON AND VACATE AN ALLEY LYING IN BLOCK 3,
C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 24 day of
September
1953, asking the City Council to vacate and abandon all that por-
tion of the alley designated on the plat of C. 0. Brackts Addition
to said City, now appearing of record in Plat Book 1, Page 166,
in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, which alley lies
in Block 3, C. 0. Brack's Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Council
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all per-
sons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained
that the alley hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated
to the public use as an alley herein described; has not been
actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five
years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all the owners
of the property abutting upon the portion of the alley to be
vacated have filed with the Council their written consent to such
abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be
adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
All that portion of the alley situated in Block 3,
C. 0. Brackts Addition to the City of Little Rock,
and which separates Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6,
Block 3, from Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, of said
Block 3, as shown by the official plat aforesaid.
Section 2. A copy of the Ordinance duly certified by the City
Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of the County

and recorded in the deed records of the County.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
