AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE TRAFFIC LIGHTS, TRAFFIC LIGHT CONTROLS, CABLB,
AND OTHER NECESSARY SUPPLIES FOR USE OF THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorised and
directed to advertise, take bids for and purchase traffic lights
f�ae`t'fc light controls, cable,, and other necessary supplies for use ,w
by the Police Department of the City of Little Rock. Said traffic
lights to be installed at each intersection on Hain Street from
Markham Street to Ninth Street, inclusive; and at the intersections
of 5th & Louisiana Streets and 5th & Center Streets.
SECTION 2. The cost of such traffic lightso traffic light con-
trols,, cable, and other necessary supplies shall not exceed the sun of nine
thousand eight hundred sixty -eight dollars ($9,868.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
