AN ;NCF ESTABLISHING STREET 111PROVMIENT DISTRICT
ITT. OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, A.RMNSA.S.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than
two - thirds in assessed value of the real property located within
the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purposes

hereinafter set out; and
IVHEREAS, after due notice as required by law., the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties
desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was
signed by more than two- thirds in assessed value of the owners of
real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, Block 3;
Lots 7 to 12, inclusive, Block 4;
Lots 6 to 10, inclusive, Block 5;
Lots 1 to 5, inclusive, Block 6;
All in Glendale Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas;
Lots 1, 21 31 10, 11 and 12,of Thalheimer's
Subdivision of Block 7, Glendale Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, of Blankinshipts
Re- Subdivision of Block S. Glendale Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
for the purpose of grading, draining„ curbing, guttering and paving,
in such a manner and with such materials as the commissioners to be
elected for the said improvement district shall deem to be for the
best interest of said district, the following part of the following
street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
WALNUT STREET from the north line of the present
pavement on West Markham Street to the north line
of "C" Street;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from any
agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and charged
upon the real property above described, provided the liability of
each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.
Said District shall be known as Street Improvement District
P& A, -.w'M.
No. 598 , and Harry 0. Kitchen', Charlie Be Newton and Inez
D. Robertson are hereby named commissioners, who shall compose
the Board of Improvement for said District.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
