AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING, FOR VARIOUS USES, PORTIONS OF THAT AREA
BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY THE ARKANSAS RIVER, ON THE EAST BY BROADWAY,
ON THE SOUTH BY WEST ELEVENTH STREET AND ON THE. WEST BY HIGH STREET,
WEST FOURTH STREET AND ITS EXTENSION WESTWARD TO THE MISSOURI PACIFIC
RAILROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY AND THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY
FROM WEST FOURTH STREET EXTENDED TO THE ARKANSAS RIVER, SAID AREA BEING
PART OF THE ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, LINCOLNS ADDITION
AND DEAF MUTE ADDITION THERETO, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5420 AS AMENDED
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Blocks eight (8) and nine (9), Deaf Mute Addition,
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, having been acquired by the State
of Arkansas, are hereby removed of their zoning classification and shall
be hereafter known as public property.
SECTION 2. That the South one half (J) of Block one hundred thirty-
two (132) and the Southwest one fourth (J) of Block one hundred eleven
(111), Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, heretofore classified
and zoned as "D" and "E" Apartment District under the terms of Zoning
Ordinance No. 5420 are hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same are
hereby declared to be in "C" Two - Family District under the terms of said
Zoning Ordinance.

fifty -five (255), three hundred fifty -one (351), three hundred fifty -
three (353), all that part of Block three hundred fifty -four (354) , the

Beachs Subdivision of Block three hundred forty -four (3441, all in the thereof,
Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the north one half (-) of Block

four (404 ), Lincoln Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the
south one half ( *) of Block seven (7), Deaf Mute Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, part of which is already classified as "D"
Apartment District, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same
is hereby declared to be in "D" Apartment District under the terms of
Zoning Ordinance No. 5420 as amended.
SECTION 4. That Blocks one hundred thirty -three (133) through
one hundred thirty -six (136), one hundred thirty nine (139) through one
hundred forty -two (142), two-hundred fifty -six (256) through two hundred
fifty -nine (259), two hundred ninety -three (293) through two hundred
ninety -six (296), two hundred ninety -nine (299) through three hundred
two (302), three hundred thirty -three (333) through three hundred thirty -

terms of Zoning Ordinance No. 5420 as amended.
SECTION 5. That Blocks one hundred thirteen (113) through one
hundred twenty -one (121), one hundred twenty -six (126) through one
hundred thirty (130), one hundred seventy -five (175) through one hundred
seventy -nine (179), two hundred twenty -five (225) through two hundred
twenty -eight (228), two hundred forty -eight (248) through two hundred
fifty -two (252), two hundred sixty (260) through two hundred sixty -four
(264), two hundred eight -eight (288) through two hundred ninety -two
(292), three hundred three (303) through three hundred six (306), three
hundred twenty -eight (328) through three hundred thirty -two (332), the

part of which is already classified as "H" Business District, is hereby
rezoned and reclassified and the same is hereby declared to be in "H"
Business District under the terms of Zoning Ordinance No. 5420 as
amended.
SECTION 6. That lots eleven (11) and twelve (12), Block one hun-
dred eleven (111), Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, heretofore
classified and zoned as "H" Business District under the terms of Zoning
Ordinance No. 5420, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same is
hereby declared to be in "I" Light Industrial District under the terms
of said Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 7. That the north one half ( *) of Block two hundred ninety-
seven (297), Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, heretofore classi-
fied and zoned as "G" Commercial District and "I" Light Industrial Dis-
trict under the terms of Zoning Ordinance No. 5420 is hereby rezoned and
reclassified and the same is hereby declared to be in "K" Heavy Industrial
District under the terms of said Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 8. That Ordinance No. 51{20 and the Zoning Map thereto
attached and made a part thereof, are hereby amended to permit the
reclassification and rezoning of that property as outlined is sections
one (1) through seven.(7) hereof.
SECTION 9. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage
