AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,500.00 FOR THE PURPOSE
OF PAYING MARY BAIN SHERRILL, EXECUTRIX OF THE ESTATE
OF JOHN A. SHERRILL, DECEASED, FOR THE SOUTH 25 FEET
OF LOT 139 BLOCK 21 STRONG AND WATERS ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
INCORPORATING SAID.GROUND WITHIN WEST MARKHAM STREET,
i AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Twenty -Five Hundred 029500.00)
Dollars is hereby appropriated for the purpose of paying Mary
Bain Sherrill, executrix of the estate of John A. Sherrill, de-
ceased, for the South Twenty -Five (251) Feet of Lot Thirteen
(13), Block Two (2)9 STRONG AND WATERS ADDITION, to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the purpose of incorporating
said ground within West Markham Street.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk shall issue the
City Warrant-,,.in the sum of Twenty -Five Hundred ($2,500.00)
Dollars, paid to Mary Bain Sherrill, executrix of the estate of
John A. Sherrill, deceased, for the above- described property.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flirt herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
