AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $175.00 TO PAY
THE EXPENSES OF MAYOR PRATT C. REMMEL WHILE ATTENDING
THE WHITE HOUSE MAYORSI CONFERENCE FOR DISCUSSING__
NATIONAL SECURITY PROBLEMS AND FEDERAL CIVIL DEFENSE
AFFAIRS TO BE HELD IN WASHINGTON, D. C., DECEMBER 14
AND 15, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The sum of One Hundred Seventy -Five ($175.00)
Dollars is hereby appropriated to pay the expenses of Mayor
Pratt C. Remmel while attending the White House Mayors' Confer-
ence for discussing National Security Problems and Federal Civil
Defense Affairs to be held in Washington, D. C., December 14 and
15, 1953.
SECTION 2, The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby auth-
orized and directed to issue the City's warrant in a sum not
to exceed One Hundred Seventy -Five ($175.00) Dollars for the
payment of said expenses in this matter.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
