WHEREAS,
a petition
was duly
filed with the
City Council
of the City of
Little Rock,
Arkansas
on the 16th
day of November
It 1953, requesting the City Council to vacate and abandon
the alley twenty (20) feet wide, runninU through Block 26, LINCOLN
PARK. ADDITION to t-Le Cit of Little Yock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and being abutted on the Vvest by Lots one (1) to seven (7 ), inclus-
ive, and on the r;ast by Lots ei"ht (u} to fourteen (14 ), inclusive,
of said Block, the alley appearing on the Plat of LINCOL 1 PAITM ADDI-
TION to the City of Little TRock, Arkansas, now appearing of record
in Plat Book 1 at Page 63 of the l,ecords of the Office of the recorder
of Pulaski County,, Arkansas; and
JM=E l' s, after due notice as required by law, the City Council
has, on the day and at the place mentioned in the notice, heard all
persons desiring; to be heard on the question and has ascertained
that the alley hereinabove described has heretofore been dedicated
to the public use as an alley but has not been actually used by the
public generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent
to the filing, of the Plat and for a period of at least five (5)
years ir,_- nediately preceding the filing of tie petition and the date
of the passa-e of this Ordinance; that the owners of all of the prop-
erty abutting upon the alley to be vacated have filed with the City
Council their written consent to such abandonment; and that the public
interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandon-
ment of such alley:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'IEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Tiae City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its right, together with the right of the

public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
