HomeMy WebLinkAbout9452f ORDINANCE NO. 2452 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PARTS OF BLOCK SIXTEEN (16), PLEASANT HILL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; DESCRIBED AS THE NORTH 1001 THEREOF AND THAT PART DESCRIBED AS BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF BLOCK SIXTEEN (16), 100' SOUTH OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER THEREOF; THENCE SOUTH 501; THENCE WEST 1401; THENCE NORTH 501; THENCE EAST 140, TO POINT OF BEGINNING; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5420 AS AMENDED; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That parts of Block sixteen (16), Pleasant Hill Addi- tion to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; described as the north 100' thereof and that part described as beginning at a point on the east line of Block sixteen (16), 100' south of the northeast corner thereof; thence south 501; thence west 1401; thence north 501; thence east 1401 to point of beginning, being 916 - 920 North Hayes Street and 917 - 921 North Garfield Street, heretofore classified and zoned as "A" One - Family District under the terms of Zoning Ordinance No. 5420, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same is hereby declared to be in "D" Apartment District under the terms of said Zoning Ordinance. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 5420 and the Zoning Map thereto attached and made a part thereof, are hereby amended to permit the reclassification and rezoning of the said parts of Block sixteen (16), Pleasant Hill Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; described as the north 1001 thereof and that part described as beginning at a point on the east line of Block sixteen (16), 1001 south of the north- east corner thereof; thence south 501; thence west 1401; thence north 501; thence east 1401 to point of beginning, as outlined in Section 1 hereof, said property to be hereafter known and classified as being in the "D" Apartment District. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. PASSED: January 25, 1954 ATTEST: CITY CLERK APPROVED: MAYOR
