ORDINANCE NO. 9476
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CONTRACTS ENTERED INTO FOR THE CONSTRUCTION,
MAINTENANCE AND EQUIPPING OF FIRE STATIONS AS APPROVED BY THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS FROM FUNDS OF A BOND ISSUE APPROPRIATED FOR SAID
PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Affairs has entered into
contracts for the purpose of constructing fire stations and additions
thereto, the equipping and operation thereof; and
WHEREAS, Fire Station No. 13, located at Barber Avenue and
Roosevelt, Fire Station No. 12, located at 7003 Cantrell Road, and
Fire Station No. 4, located at 707 East Capitol Avenue, an addition
to the Central Fire Station Repair Shop; and
WHEREAS, the fire alarm system has been ordered and contracted
for by the Board of Public Affairs; and
WHEREAS, by reason of these contracts, the City of Little
Rock has contracted for and expended the sum of $366,139.17; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, through its Board of
- Public Affairs, has accepted and received benefits of said contract,
and said funds were made available by reason of a Bond Issue passed
and approved for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Little Rock
does hereby /ratify the actions of the Board of Public Affairs in the
contract and payment of the following accounts:
