HomeMy WebLinkAbout9511y ORDINANCE NO. 9511 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING A PARCEL OF LAND IN THE SOUTHEAST PORTION OF BROADMOOR ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDI- NANCE NO. 5420 AS AMENDED; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That part of Broadmoor Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; described as beginning at the southeast corner of Broad - moor Addition; thence N 88 degrees 39 minutes W 585.5 feet along the south line of Broadmoor Addition to the - southeast corner of Lot eight (8);thence N. 0 degrees 08 minutes E 305.0 feet along the east line of Lots four (4), five (5), six (6), seven (7) and eight (8) to the north- east corner of Lot four (4); thence northeasterly along the east line of Lots two (2) and three (3) 104.3 feet to the northeast corner of Lot two (2) a point on the south line of Lakeshore Drive; thence northeasterly across Lakeshore Drive at right angles to the center line of the street 50 feet to the north line of Lakeshore Drive; thence northwesterly along the north line of Lakeshore Drive extended 148.8 feet to a point 16 feet southeasterly from the south corner of Lot ninety -eight (98); thence northeasterly 16 feet from and parallel to the east line of Lot ninety- eight (98), 154.6 feet to a point; thence continue northeasterly parallel to and across the Rebsamen Lake Dam 595.8 feet to a point 16 feet from the southeast corner of Lot one hundred sixty-one (161); thence continue northeasterly 16 feet from and parallel to the east line of Lot one hundred sixty -bite (161), 125 feet to the south line of Broadmoor Drive; thence southeasterly along the south line of Broadmoor Drive projected 150 feet to a point on the east line of Broadmoor Addition; thence southerly along the east line of Broadmoor Addition 1230 feet to the point of beginning, being property at the northwest corner of Thirty - Second and Hayes Streets, heretofore classified as "A" One - Family under the terms of Zoning Ordi- nance No. 5420, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same is hereby declared to be in "F" Commercial District under the terms of said Zoning Ordinance. • SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 5420 and the Zoning Map thereto attached and made a part thereof, are hereby amended to permit the reclassification and rezoning of the property described in Section 1 hereof, said property to be hereafter known and classified as being in the "F" Commercial District. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall tek a effect and be in force from and after its passage. PASSED: March 29, 1954 .
