AN ORDINANCE WAIVING OVERALL PAVE-
MENT WIDTH ON LONGFELLOW CIRCLE.
WHEREAS, the City ordinances require that the pavement for a
street with a 45 -foot right -of -way shall have a minimum width of
25 feet overall, and a pavement for a street with a 50 -foot right -
of -way shall, have a minimum width of 31 feet overall; and
WHEREAS, in Longfellow Circle, an Addition to the'City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, the street named Longfellow Circle is 45 feet
in width except for a short distance, and it is proposed to have an
overall pavement of 28 feet; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the requirement of a 31 -foot overall pavement
where the street has a 50 -foot right -of -way is hereby waived on that
the street in Longfellow Circle beginning where the east
line of the street Longfellow Place intersects the south line of the
Addition and extending east `a distance of 200 feet, and that a 28 -foot
overall pavement be permitted in order to insure uniformity throughout
the Addition, and because of the small number of building sites in
Longfellow Circle an overall pavement of 28 feet will be adequate.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in force
and effect from and after its passage.
