AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE ALLEY RUNNING EAST AND 1ST THROUGH
THE CENTER OF THAT PART OF BEACH'S SUBDIVISION OF BLQGK 344 OF
THE ORIGINAL CITY OF LrrrLE:RACK LYING WEST OF THE ALLEY RUNNING
NORTH APO SOUTH THROUGH SAID BL M.
1 HER EAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, on the 23rd day of June, 1954, asking the City Council to

on the plat of Beach s Subdivision of Block, of the Original City of Little
Rock, now appearing of record in Deed Record 4 at Page 586 in the Office of the

RHEAS, after due notices as required by law, the Council has, at the time
aAA place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the
q stion and has ascertained that the alley hereinbefore described, has heretofore
be n dedicated to the public use as an alley; has not been actually used by the public
17107 erally for a period of at least five years and is not now so used; that the
,ers of all the property abutting upon said alley to be vacated have filed
with the council their written consent to such abandonment and have signed said
petition; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected

'a NOW TAEHEFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Bock,
A fkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arknsas, hereby releases, vacates and
a ndons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally in and
t4�)the alley designated as follows:

A strip of land 20 feet wide North and South by
153 feet 4 inches East and West, in Beach's Sub-
division of Block 344 of the Original City of
Little Roek, 4 ended or-the North by ,the Ssuth
line of Lots 12, 13, 14 and 15 of said Block, on
the East by an alley running North and South
through said block, on the South by the North line
of Lots 7, 8, 9 and 10 of said block and on the
West by Woodlane Street.
The said strip of land being the alley running East
and West through the center of that part of Beach's
subdivision of Block 344 of the Original City of
Little Rock lying Hest of the alley running North
and South through said block.
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance dhly certified by the City Clerk shall
be filed in the Office of the Recorder of the County and recorded in the Deed
Records of the County.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
