AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF 032000.00 TO
PURCHASE FROM OWNER, CORA A. MOORE, PART OF LOT 9,
ALL OF LOT 10, AND A PART OF LOT 11, BLOCK 9, DODGE
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO BE USED.FOR
THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING AND STRAIGHTENING EAST 15TH
STREET, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Three Thousand ($3,000.00)
Dollars is hereby appropriated to purchase from the owner,
Cora A. Moore, the following property in Pulaski County, Ark-
ansas, to -wit:
part of Lot 9, all of Lot 10, and a part of Lot 11, in
Block 9, DODGE ADDITION to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Begin at the Northwest Corner of Lot 11; from point
of beginning run South along the West side of Lots 10
and 11, a distance of 100 feet to a point being the
Southwest Corner, of Lot 10; thence run East along the
South line of Lot 10, a distance of 62.32 feet to a
point; thence run South 56 degrees 55 minutes East
across Lot 9, a distance of 52.65 feet to a point on
the East line of Lot 9, said point being 28.57 feet
South of the Northeast Corner of Lot 9; thence North
along the East side of Lots 9 and 10, a distance of
78.57 feet to a point being the Northeast Corner of
Lot 10; thence run West along the North side of Lot
10, a distance of 29.21 feet to a point; thence run
North 56 degrees 55 minutes West, a distance of 92.22
feet to the point of beginning; containing 0.189 acres,
more or less,
to be used for the purpose of improving and straightening East
15th Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.

SECTION 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to issue the City's warrant in a sum
not to exceed Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars for the pur-
chase of said property.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval.
