ORDINANCE NO. 9629
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYING OF A PART -TIME
STEAM FITTER AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $3.00 PER HOUR,
APPROPRIATING A SUM NOT TO EXCEED $720.00 FOR THE PAY-
MENT OF SAID STEAM FITTER, PROVIDING THAT SAID MONEY
SHALL BE PAID FROM MONEY APPROPRIATED FOR THE HEATING
CHANGE OVER OF THE CITY HALL, FIRE STATION, AND CITY
JAIL, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That employment of a part -time Steam Fitter,
at a cost not to exceed $3.00 per hour, is hereby authorized.
That said Steam Fitter shall be paid from money appropriated
for the heating change over of the City Hall, Fire Station,
and City Jail. That the sum of money appropriated for the
payment of said Steam Fitter, at a charge of $3.00 per hour,
shall not exceed the sum of $720.00.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to issue the Cityls warrant in a sum
of such money as it may be shown to them that the Steam
Fitter earned upon an hourly basis. That he shall furnish
them with a statement of how many hours he worked, which
statement shall be approved by William F. Williams, City
Engineer.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval..
