ORDINANCE NO. A6K7
AN ORDINANCE CONFIRIJIING AND ACCEPTING DEDICATION
TO THE PUBLIC OF PROPERTY FOR USE AS A STREET.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock School District (as owner) has
duly executed and recorded its deed dedicating to the City of
Little Rock and to the public generally for use as a public
street, thoroughfare or other public way, the following described
property, to -wit:
and
West 40 feet of Lots 9 to 12, inclusive, Block 40;
West 40 feet of Lots 7 to 12, inclusive, Block 38;
and West 40 feet of a tract of land more particularly
described as commencing at the southwest corner of
Lot 7, Block 38, and running South to the northwest
corner of Lot 12, Block 40; thence East to McAlmont
Street; thence North along the West boundary line of
McAlmont Street to the southeast corner of Lot 7, Block
38; and thence West to point of beginning, all of the
above described lands being located in Bragg's Second
Addition to the City of Little Rock;
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Little Rock deems
that it will be to the public interest and welfare that the above
mentioned dedication be confirmed and the above described property
accepted as a public street:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.'
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on its own
behalf and on behalf of the public generally, does hereby confirm
and accept for use as a public street the property hereinabove
described.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
