AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO ALDERMAN F. W. PARRIS
SUCH COMPENSATION FOR HIS SERVICES WHILE ACTING AS MAYOR
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby appropriates such
sums of money necessary to compensate Alderman F. W. Parris as Mayor
of the City of Little Rock from November 8, 1954 to the date of re-
turn to the City by Mayor Remmel from his tour of Germany with a
group of Municipal Officials.
SECTION 2. Compensation shall be on the basis w of the
salary paid the Mayor of the City of Little Rock and any sums received
by Alderman Parris during this period in his capacity as Alderman of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, shall be deducted therefrom.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk and the Mayor are hereby
directed to issue a warrant for such sums as will compensate Alderman
Parris for his services as Mayor.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
