AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF 61,010.00 FOR
THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSE OF THE RIVERSIDE
INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA IN REMOVING IMPROVEMENTS
FROM PART OF LOTS 4 AND 5, BLOCK 256, ORIGINAL CITY
OF' LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, .ARKANSAS TO BE USED
IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE RIVER FRONT DRIVE, AND FOR
OTfMR PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE: CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
One Thousand Ten ($1,010.00) Dollars for the purpose of defray-
ing the expense of the Riverside Insurance Company of America
in. removing improvements from the following real property to
be used in the construction of the River Front Drive, to -wit:
Part of Lots 4 and 5, Block 256, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, Pulaski County, Arkansas, described as: Beginning
at a point 100 feet East of the Northwest corner of said
Block 256 and 61.3 feet South parallel with Ringo Street;
thence North a distance of 61.3 feet to the North line of
said Block 256; thence West along the North line of said
Block 256, a distance of 50 feet; thence South parallel
with Ringo Street, a distance of 42.5 feet; thence in a
Southeasterly direction to point of beginning, containing
2,595 square feet, more or less.
SECTION- 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
instructed to issue the Cityls warrant in the sure of One
Thousand Ten ($1,010.00) Dollars to the Riverside Insurance
Company of America for the purpose of removing improvements
from the said property, money to be paid from the Highway Con-
struction Fund.
SECTION 3. That.all ordinances and parts of ordinances
In conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
