HomeMy WebLinkAbout9699ORDINANCE NO. 9699 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $321.58 FOR THE PURPOSE OF REIMBURSING PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS THE PROPORTIONATE SHARE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK OF THE EXPENSE OF ADVERTISING THE THREE -MILL ROAD TAX IN THE 1954 GENERAL ELECTION IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the total expense of advertising the Three -Mill Road Tax in the 1954 General Election was $964.74, and that the Cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock and the County of Pulaski should each bear one -third of such expense; and WHEREAS, Pulaski County has advanced all of such expense; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That the sum of Three Hundred Twenty -One Dol- lars and Fifty -Eight Cents ($321.58) is hereby appropriated for the purpose of reimbursing Pulaski County, Arkansas the proportionate share of the City of Little Rock of the expense of advertising the Three -Mill Road Tax in the 1954 General Election in Pulaski County, Arkansas. SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are instructed to issue the Cityts warrant in the sum of Three Hundred Twenty -One Dollars and F'i.f ty -Eight Cents ($321.58) for the said advertising. SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
