PART OF SCHNE IDER t S SUB - DIVISION OF THE
NORTH HALF (NJ) OF LOT SIX (6), BLOCK
THREE (3), HYDE PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, LYING WEST OF THE ALLEY
RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH THROUGH SAID BLOCK
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 12th day of November, 1954,
asking the City Council to vacate and abandon an alley running east
and west through the center of that part of Schneiderts Sub - division
of the North Half (NJ) of Lot Six (6), Block Three (3), Hyde'Park
Addition to the City of Little Rock lying west of the alley running
north and south through said block, designated on the plat thereof,
now appearing of record in Plat Record Book 3 at page 4 7, in the office
of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Council has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring
to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley herein-
before described has heretofore been dedicated to the-public use as an
alley; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period
of at least five (5) years and is not now so used; that the owners of
all the 'property abutting upon said alley to be vacated have filed with
the Council their written consent to such abandonment and have signed
said Petition; and that public interest and welfare will not be ad.
versely affected by the abandonment of such alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEM CITY OF
LITTLR ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I, The City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
puhl'_enrielly in and to the alley designated as follows:
A strip of land 16 feet wide North and South, by 144 feet
East and West in Schneiderts Sub-division of the North
Half (NJ), Lot Six (6), Block Three (3), Hyde Park Addition
to the City of Little Rock, bounded on the North by the South
line of Lots Ten (10), Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) of said
ast by an alley running North and South through

said Block, on the South by the North line of Lots Seven (7),
Eight (g) and Nine (9) of said Block, and on the West by Madison
Street, the said strip of land being an alley running East and
West through the center of that part of Schneiderts Sub. - division
of the North Half (NJ) of Lot Six (6). BlocleThree (3), Hyde
Park Addition to the City of Little Rock, lying West of the
alley running North and South through said Block.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City
County
Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of the elty and
recorded in the Deed Record Books of the county.
SECTION 3, This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
