ORDINANCE NO. 9716
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO JOIN WITH THE ARKANSAS STATE
HIGHWAY COMMISSION IN THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT
WITH HARRY BAIKE ENGINEERS FOR CONSULTING ENGINEER-
ING SERVICE IN CONSTRUCTING THE RIVERFRONT DRIVE
ADJACENT _ TO THE OLD STATE CAPITOL PROPERTY, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
_ NSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and requested to join with the Arkansas State Highway Commis-
sion in the execution of a contract with Harry Balks Engineers
for consulting engineering service in constructing the River -
front Drive adjacent to the Old State Capitol Property.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
