AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO OBTAIN THE APPRAISED VALUE OF AND
TO ENTER INTO NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE OWNERS OF LOT 7
AND THE EAST 30 FEET OF LOT 8, BLOCK 10, PFEIFERIS
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID PROPERTY TO BE
USED TO STRAIGHTEN COLEMANiS CREEK DITCH, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE -ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to obtain the appraised value of and
to enter into negotiations with the owners of Lot 7 and the
East 30 feet of Lot 8, Block 10, PFEIFER'S ADDITION to the
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas for the purchase
of said property to be used to straighten Coleman's Creek Ditch.
SECTION 2. That the purchase price of said property shall
not exceed the appraised value.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval.
