______.______ AMENDING SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9126,
TO PROVIDE FOR INSPECTION FEES OF PRIVATELY KEPT COWS
AND GOATS, RETAIL AND WHOLESALE RAW DAIRIES AND MILK
PLANTS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
.ARKANSAS:
i SECTION 1. That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 9126, to pro-
vide for inspection fees of privately kept cows and goats, re-
tail and wholesale raw dairies and milk plants, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 7. All fees herein provided for shall be paid
to the City Collector and shall be used wholly for the ex-
pense of carrying out the provisions of this ordinance and
other ordinances pertaining to milk inspection and control.
The fees provided in Sections 4 and 5 shall be based
on the actual net weight of all the milk and milk products
received.
If at any time the fund created for the collection of
the fees herein provided are sufficient to pay all of the
expense of carrying out the provisions of this ordinance
and other ordinances pertaining to milk inspection and con-
trol, the monthly fees provided in Sections 4 and 5 may be
waived from month to month by the City Health Officer until
such time further assessments of Sections 4 and 5 are neces-
sary in the discretion of the City Health Officer to carry
out the provisions of this ordinance and other ordinances
pertaining to milk inspection and control.
The original weight sheets and all other records per-
taining to the amount of milk and /or milk products produced,
received, or manufactured shall be made available to the
City Health Officer and /or the City Collector for the deter-
mination of this fee. All milk and milk products shall be
purchased by weight; the purchase of milk, cream and milk
products by measure is prohibited."

SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
