AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BUIFITS TO BE
RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF BACH OF THE SEVERAL
LOTS, BLOCKS AND PAROMS OF LAND WITHIN
ASS N0. 1 TO WUAND GUTTER IMPROVAMEBT
DISTRICT N0. 600 0 in CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
more than a majority in value of the property holders
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in
Amnez No. 1 to Curb and Gutter Improvement District Igo. 600 of the
City of Little Hock, Arkansas, organised.for the purpose of grdding,
draining, curbing and guttering West 23rd Street from Washington Street
to Monroe Street, as therein set out have petitioned the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas for the construction of said
I improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the
real property of said Annex No. 1 according to the benefits received;
and
THEM, said benefits received by each and every block, lot
and parcel of real property situated in said Annex No. 1 equile or
exceeds the local assessment thereon; and

Section 1. That the said several blocks, lots and parcels of

the saw now remains in the office of the City Clerk or as the same may
from time to time be revised, and that four and one -half (4J) percentum
of the assessment on each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be
collected by the County Collector on or before the first day of June,
1955, and four and one -half (4}) per ceatum of the assessment shall be i.
collected by the County Collector with the first installment of general
taxes becoming due in 1956 and annually thereafter with the first
installment of general taxes until the whole of said local assessment
shall be paid.
Section 2. A11 ordinances and parts of ordinances in oisflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passeyje.
