ORDINANCE NO. 9756
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $750.00 FROM
THE HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION FUND TO PAY MELCHIOR M.
EBERTS POST #1, THE AMERICAN LEGION, FOR RELEASE
OF A LEASE TO A PART OF BLOCK 79, ORIGINAL CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, IN CONNECTION WITH THE RIVERFRONT
DRIVE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty ($750.00)
Dollars is hereby appropriated from the Highway,, Construction
Fund to pay Melchior M. Eberts Post #1, The American Legion,
for release of a lease to the following described property in
connection with the Riverfront Drive:
Commencing at a point on the prolongation of the East
line of Block Seventy -Nine (79), ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, Sixty -Nine (69) feet frdm the.Northeast corner of
said block; thence West One $unfired Twenty -Five (125)
feet; thence North Sixty-Five (65) feet; thence East
One Hundred Twenty -Five (125) feet; thence South Sixty-
Five (65) feet, to the point of beginning, together with
all riparian rights.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to'issue the Cityts warrant in thi
sum of Seven Hundred Fifty ($750.00) Dollars to pay for the
release of the above mentioned lease, said sum to be paid
from the Highway Construction Fund.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
