ORDINANCE NO. 9787
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE TWO AUTOMOBILES FOR USE OF THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE
DEPARTMENT AT A SUM NOT TO EXCEED $3,500.00, PLUS
TRADE -IN EQUIPMENT, TO BE PAID FROM THE FIRE DEPART-
MENT CONSTRUCTION FUND, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and pur-
chase two Automobiles for use of the Little Rock Fire Depart-
ment.
SECTION 2. That the purchase price of said Automobiles
shall not exceed the sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred
($3,500.00) Dollars, plus the trade -in of a 1948 Dodge Coupe
and a 1950 Plymouth Coupe belonging to the City of Little Rock,
said sum to be paid from the Fire Department Construction Fund.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
In conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
