AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE ONE TRACTOR AND BULLDOZER AND ONE 1'j -TON DUMP
TRUCK FOR USE OF THE LITTLE ROCK SANITATION DEPARTMENT
AT A SUM NOT TO EXCEED $17,000.00, PLUS TRADE -IN EQUIP-
MENT, TO BE PAID FROM THE GARBAGE PLANT CONSTRUCTION
FUND, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids:: for, and
purchase one tractor and bulldozer and one 1 -ton dump truck
for use of the Little Rock Sanitation Department,
SECTION 2. That the purchase price of said tractor and
bulldozer and 12 -ton dump truck shall not exceed the sum of
Seventeen Thousand ($17,000.00) Dollars, plus the trade -in
of one H.D. 10 Allis- Chalmers tractor and bulldozer and one
1942 1i -ton International dump truck, owned by the City of Little
Rock, said sum to be paid from the Garbage Plant Construction
Fund,
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
