AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND DEDICATING LANDS AND PARCELS OF
LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR PUBLIC USE AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.

g.1. WHEREAS, title has been acquired by condemnation proceedings
and obtained by purchase by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the

following described lands and parcels of lands situated in the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Block
Beginning at the southwest corner of Block 357,
Original City of Little Rock, thence east along the
j south line of Block 357 a distance of 101.4 feet,
thence northwesterly to the point on the east line
of the west 75 feet of the south 150 feet of Block
357 which is 32.7 feet north of the south line of
Block 357, thence north along the east line of the
west 75 feet of the south 150 feet of Block 357 a
distance of 117.3 feet to the north line of the south
150 feet of Block 357, thence west along the north
line of the south`150 feet of Block 357 a distance of
75 feet to the northwest corner of the south 150 feet
of Block 3570 thence along the westerly extension of

the west line of Block 136 a distance of 90 feet,

Commencing at the northwest corner of Block 121,

the east line of Arch Street a distance of 57.5
feet, thence on a deflection angle of 90 degrees
00 minutes to the right a distance of 11 feet to
the beginning of a 116 degree 41 minute 35 second
degree curve, deflecting 90 degrees 00 minutes to
the right to fix the tangent to the curve at this
point, thence along the 116 degree 41 minute 35
second degree curve to the right a distance of-33.5
feet to the east line of Arch Street and the point
of beginning, thence continuing along the 116 degree
41 minute 35 second degree,curve to the right a
distance of 33.9 feet to the end of the curve, thence
northeasterly iri a straight line to the point on the
south line of Garland Avenue which is 75 feet east of
the northwest corner of Block 121, thence west along
the south line of Garland Avenue to the northwest
corner of Block 121, thence south along the east line
of Arch Street to the point of beginning, containing
660 square feet, more or less.

as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Block 185,

the point of beginning, thence continue north

of 37.8 feet, thence northeasterly in a straight

Also conveyed is a portion of Block 185, Original
City of Little Rock, described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the east line of Block
185 which is 236.5 feet north of the southeast
corner of Block 185, thence south along the east
line of Block 185 a distance of 86.5 feet, thence
west parallel to the south line of Block 185 a
distance of 227.7 feet to a point on a 47 degree
32 minute 53 second degree curve, deflecting 148
degrees 22 minutes to the right to fix the tangent
to the curve at this point, thence along the 47
degree 32 minute 53 second degree curve to the
right a distance of 39.2 feet to end of curve,
thence along a tangent line having a deflection
of 13 degrees 00 minutes to the north from a line
parallel to the south line of Block 185 a distance
of 11,2.8 feet to the beginning of a 71 degree 10
minute 30 second degree curve to the left, thence
along the 71 degree 10 minute 30 second degree
curve to the left a distance of 67.6 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 7,813 square feet,
more or less.
Section 2. Said lands and parcels of lands described in Section 1 of
this ordinance are hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, as and for the said City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and the same are hereby dedicated for public use as a street and are
available for highway purposes.
Section 3. It being deemed necessary for the best service, convenience,
welfare and safety of the traveling public that the said lands and parcels
of lands be improved by the construction of a suitable street and such
other facilities as are necessary, and that the traffic conditions at
the present and those in the foreseeable future are such that the immediate
construction of such street -,is in the best, rest of the traveling public
and the public generally that an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after
its passage and publication; and all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
