AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND RENT, WITH OPTION TO
PURCHASE, THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT FOR USE OF THE POLICE DEPART_
MENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: SEVEN (7) Z DOOR SEDANS AT
A PRICE NOT TO EXCEED $9,000,INCLUDING VALUE OF TRADE -IN EQUIP-
MENT OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorised
and requested to advertise, take bids for, and rent with option to
purchase, the following equipment for use of the Police Department of
the City of Little Rock: Seven (7) 2 door sedans.
SECTION 2. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and requested to trade -in seven(7) City -owned Polio* veh*-ides on the
rental price of the Police vehicles authorized in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION S. That the total price of the items to be rented,
inclusive of the aforesaid trade -in equipment, shall not exceed the
sum of $9,000.
SECTION 4. That all monthly rental fees shall apply on the
purchase price of each or all items should the rentor exercise the
option to 'rpurchase.
SECTION 5. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
