AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND RENT,
WITH OPTION TO PURCHASE, THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT FOR
USE OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF='LI TTIE
ROCK: ONE 3 TO 5 -TON TANDEM ROLLER, ONE 5 TES 8 -TON
TANDEM ROLLER, ONE CONCRETE SAW, ONE GRAVEL SPREADER,
FIVE 2 -YARD CAPACITY DUMP TRUCKS, AT A PRICE NOT TO
EXCEED $27,000.00, INCLUDING VALUE OF TRADE -IN EQUIP-
MENT OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER

PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and rent,
with option to purchase, the following equipment for use of the
Street Department of the City of Little Rock: One 3 to 5 -ton
Tandem Roller, one 5 to 8 -ton Tandem Roller, one Concrete Saw,
one Gravel Spreader, and five 2 -yard capacity Dump Trucks.
SECTION 2. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to trade -in three '(3) City -owned Tandem
Rollers on the rental price of the Tandem Rollers authorized in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the Board of Public Affairs is further
authorized and requested to trade -in five (5) City -owned Dump
Trucks on the rental price of the Dump Trucks authorized in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 4. That the total price of the items to be rented,
( inclusive of the aforesaid trade -in equipment, shall not exceed
the sum of Twenty -Seven Thousand ($27,000.00) Dollars.
SECTION 5. That all monthly rental fees shall apply on
the purchase price of each or all items should the rentor exoer4'1'
cise the option to purchase.
SECTION 6. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance-
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
