AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK WITH THE ARKANSAS
POWER & LIGHT COMPANY TO PART OF LOTS 1, 2 & 3, BLOCK 122,
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, DESCRIBED AS COMMNCING AT THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 3, BLOCK 122, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK THENCE SOUTH . ALONG THE . WEST LINE OF SAID LOT A DISTANCE
QP` 3. .4 FEET; THENCE ON A DE'F'LECTION ANGLE OF 940 091 TO THE
LEFT, A DISTANCE OF 38.3 FEET TO THE POINT'OF BEGINNING;
THENCE CONTINUING IN A STRAIGHT LINE, A DISTANCE OF 112.1
FEET TO THE EAST LINE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 122, ORIGINAL CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; THENCE NORTH ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 1,
A DISTANCE OF 14.6 FEET; THENCE IN A STRAIGHT LINE TO THE
POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 810 SQUARE FEET, MORE OR LESS,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 9763, passed and approved by
this City Council on February 14, 19559 the Mayor and the
City Clerk were authorized and directed to execute a deed on
behalf of the City of Little Rock to the Arkansas Power &
Light Company to the following described real estate in

Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 3, Block
122, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, thence South along
the West line of said lot, a distance of 39.4 feet;
thence on a deflection angle of 940 091 to the left,
a distance of 38.3 feet to the point of beginning;
thence continuing in a straight line a distance of
112.1 feet to the East line of Lot 1, Block 1222
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; thence South along the
East line of said Lot 1, a distance of 14.6 feet;
thence in a straight line to the point of beginning,
containing 810 square feet, more or less,
in exchange for real property of the Arkansas Power & Light
Company located in Block 122, Original City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, to be conveyed to the City of
Little Rock, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has received its deed
from the Arkansas Power & Light Company for the property in
said Block 1220 which deed is recorded in Deed Record Book
565, at page 205, of the records of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and has executed its deed to the City of Little Rock, as

authorized by Ordinance No. 9763, which deed is recorded
in Deed Record Book 565, at page 267, of the deed records
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and,
WHEREAS, it has been discovered that the land descrip-
tion in Ordinance'No. 9763s and in said deed above described
executed by the City of Little Rock to the Arkansas Power
& Light Company, is erroneous in that the next last call
should read "thence North along the East line of said Lot
1,a distance of 14.6 feet" instead of "thence South along
the East line of said Lot 19 a distance of 14.6 feet."
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That the Mayor and the City Clerk are here.
by authorized and directed to execute a deed on behalg of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas to the Arkansas Power &
Light Company, to the following described real property in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Commending at the Northwest corner of Lot 3, Block
122, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, thence South along
the West line of said lot, a distance of 39.4 feet;
thence on a deflection angle of 940 091 to the left,
a distance of 38.3 feet to the point of beginning;
thence continuing in a straight line a distance of
112.1 feet to the East line of Lot 1, Block 122,
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; thence North along the
East line of said Lot 1, a distance of 14.6 feet;
thence in a straight line to the point of beginning,
containing 810 square feet, more or less.
SECTION 2: That the consideration for the execution
and delivery of the deed above authorized by the City of
Little Rock is the exchange of property and conveyance by
the Arkansas Power & Light Company to the City of Little
Rock of the lands described in a deed dated March 16, 1955s
and recorded in Book 565 at page 205 of the records of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and for the purpose of correcting
an error in the description of a deed executed by the City

of Little Rock to the Arkansas Power & Light Company, dated
the 2nd day of March, 1955, and recorded in Book 565 at
page 267, of the deed records of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage and approval.
