HomeMy WebLinkAbout9974i r ORDINANCE NO. 9974 AN ORDINANCE REZONING VARIOUS PROPERTIES WITHIN AN AREA BOUNDED ON THE WEST BY RECTOR STREET, ON THE NORTH BY EAST FOURTH STREET, ON THE EAST BY THE C.R.I. & P. R.R. AND ON THE SOUTH BY EAST NINTH STREET; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5420 AS QED, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That the south ten (10) feet of Lots One (1) and Two (2), Block Seventeen (17), Rectortown Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; Lots Five (5) and Six (6), Block Four (4); Lots Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7), and Eight (8), Block Five (5) and Lots Five (5) and Six (6), Block Twelve (12), Woodruff's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, heretofore classified and zoned as "CO Two Family District under the terms of Zoning Ordinance No. 5420, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same is hereby declared to be in "D" Apartment District under the terms of said zoning ordinance. SECTION 2. That the South half of Blocks Nine (9), Ten (10), and Fourteen (14), all of Blocks Fifteen (15), Sixteen (16), Eighteen (18), Nineteen (19), and Twenty (20.), and Lots Three (3) through Six (6) inclusive, Block Seventeen (17), Bsctort nm Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; all of Blocks One (1), Two (2), and Three (3), Lots One (1) through Four (4) inclusive, Block Four (4), Lots One (1) through Four (4) inclusive, Block Five (5) and the north half of Blocks Six (6), Seven (7), and Eight (8), Woodruff's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; all of Block One (1), lying west of the C.R.I. & P. R.R. right -of -wady and all of Block "A" (except the south Sixty (60) feet of Lots One (1), Two (2), and Three (3), Hanger's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;) said property heretofore zoned and classified as "C" Two Family District, "D" Apart- ment District, "F" Commercial District, "H" Business District., "I" Light Industrial District, "J" Light Industrial District and "K" Heavy Industrial District under the terms of Zoning Ordinance No. 5420, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same is hereby declared to be in "I" Light Industrial District under the terms of said zoning ordinance. SECTION 3. That Ordinance No. 5420 and the Zoning Map thereto attached and made a part thereof, are hereby amended to permit the reclassification and rezoning of the properties as outlined in Section One and Two hereof.
